The Sausage Party #3: Oktoberfest Ride
09.30.11
OKTOBERFEST!!!
Yes, it's that time of year again. Time to drink beers and ride bikes.
Oh wait, that's 365/24/7.
Um... time to drink GERMAN beers and ride bikes. Wear your finest lederhosen and fräulein outfits.
Yeah, its the same ride as always. Downtown to SFV.
MEETUP MATRIX (Now 217% more complex!)
MEET WHERE
6:30pm Angel City Brewery (216 S Alameda St, Los Angeles, CA 90012)
8:00pm Wurstküche (800 E 3rd St., Los Angeles, CA 90013)
9:30pm Little Tokyo / Arts District Station (200 N Alameda St., Los Angeles, CA 90012)
ROLL AT 10pm
We are rolling down the LA River Bike Path. May make some random Wunderbar Stops at various Wunderbar Places.
Generally, we ride at a good clip. I'm not saying that to scare you, just to give you a heads up. We lost some folks on the last ride (No Ridazz Left Behind!!! ;_;). Try to keep up and I'll try to keep things tighter. Road bikes and fixies recommended. Hills will occur at random; be ready for them.
Bring tools and an extra tube.
Bring lights. The path is very dark at parts.
We will try to make it to the train by last train at NoHo, but you never know.
PROST!
(Yes, I know there is an Oktoberfest in Torrance. I don't like it. We'll have way more fun anyway.)
