Beat the pump, cycle the town, and enjoy Santa Monica's sights and sounds. The Santa Monica
Museum of Art's third annual Tour

da Arts bike event invites you to participate in a spoke-card workshop and a scenic ride with stops
for music, dance, and art along

the way. The ride culminates at SMMoA with the Bicycle Bell Ensemble - a tuneful collaborative
performance.

Spoke card art workshop admission $5

Activities are open to all ages (some restrictions apply).



FREE Bicycle Gear!

All riders receive a FREE bicycle bell and the first 150 riders to register and check-in receive a
FREE Tour da Arts bicycle bag! The

ring of your free bicycle bell is an instrumental part of the musical grand finale - the Bicycle Bell
Ensemble.

EVENT SCHEDULE:

Noon - 2:00 pm

Spoke-card workshop:

Admission $5; Free for SMMoA Members

(Workshop admission is ticketed and seperate from the event registration)



Bike tour check-in + Bicycle Bell Ensemble prep + Cycling Culture Mini-Fest of resources, bike
demos, and products.



2:30 - 7:00 pm

Cultural bike tour, led by C.I.C.L.E.‘s Urban Expeditions team, featuring music and dance at The
Broad Stage, spoken word and live

jazz with Jazz on the Lawn at Santa Monica City Hall, and the Bicycle Bell Ensemble collaborative
performance upon return to

SMMoA/Bergamot Station (bells provided).

SMMoA: Spoke Card Workshop and Cycling Culture Mini-Fest

(Workshop admission is $5 and separate from the event registration)



Stop 2

The Broad Stage: Music and dance by Global Motion and Synapse Contemporary Dance Ensemble



Stop 3

City Hall: Jazz on the Lawn with The Electones



Stop 4

Return to SMMoA for the Bicycle Bell Ensemble - a tuneful collaborative performance of bicycle bells
with Patrick Miller, Sister

Mantos, Telematique, and David Simien



What to Bring: Basic riding skills and a bike in good running order. Anyone under 18 must wear a
helmet and be accompanied by a

parent or guardian. Children under 9 are recommended to be on a tag-along, bike trailer, tandem, or
other safe child-carrying device.
