DETAILS:

As with all Folk Art Bike Tours, weâ€™ll mix an exploration of art, neighborhoods and unique community gathering spots. This time weâ€™ll focus on West Adams, one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city. While West Adams features a collection of architecturally significant houses, it is also the site of community-based murals, creative spaces and delicious food. We will tour the area via bike to soak in some of these places, including Mercado La Paloma and 24th Street Theater. Weâ€™ll also explore how this neighborhood is transforming, with an eye toward changing food offerings in the area.

The ride is led by Heidi Zeller of Folk Art Everywhere and Damon Turner of Mercado La Paloma.

Total mileage: Approx. 6, with no hills. Great for beginning to moderate cyclists. Ride is FREE!
