Impromptu parks created by citizens just for a day in places where cars usually park.

Quite a few are created by artists/architects and they could be interesting in an ArtWalk kind of way.

The bad thing for nine to fivers is that they are happening mostly during the day on a Friday.

The good thing is that not every body is a nine to fiver.

Come celebrate the first rain in 150 days with a bike ride.

We will start at noon at Bike Oven Roll at 12:15 SHARP

I made my own map because I didn't like the one by Park[ing] Day LA.

Those giant parking meters don't make good markers

My map is not complete though. It's just a wishlist of places to visit.

Many of the outlying areas (Pasdena, Northridge,UCLA) are missing.
