MEET: 9pm
Hollenbeck Park,
6th and St. Louis

RIDE: 10pm

It started as an innocent flirtation. A ride every once in a while. Just for fun. But, soon,
once in a while turned into every week. And then every week turned into nearly every
day. You'd fallen. You'd fallen hard. That was it. You were hooked on each other.

And he was, oh, so pretty. Never mind riding, you could just stare at him forever.
You wanted to pamper him, baby him. You bought him nice things. You dreamed
about him.

Your friends, they didn't really understand. All you ever wanted to do was hang out
with him, and with his friends and their girls. They hardly ever saw you any more.
Was this a relationship you had entered into or a cult? They were worried.

Your parents were concerned as well. It just didn't seem like a practical match. The
city can be hard and weren't you just making it harder? How about a nice BMW?
Or a Prius? But, ultimately, they just wanted you to be happy and happy you did
appear. They didn't necessarily like him or understand your relationship, but they
liked the way he made you sorta, well, glow. And that day, the day when they saw
the ring, they finally understood that this was for real.

And here we are. Your wedding day. You and your bike will be joined together in
holy matrimony. To forever ride these streets together, husband and wife, groom and
bride. Honoring, obeying, sicknessing, healthing, and forsaking all others: the whole
nine yards. So, find that perfect dress and come celebrate your union with all the rest
of us brides, as we celebrate ours.

Which bride will be crowned most beautiful?
Who can toss their bouquet with the greatest skill?
And will you survive the Garter Derby?

CEREMONY
Ordained ministers (plural!) will pronounce you woman and bike.
Probably through a megaphone. For emphasis.

RECEPTION
Party time! You only get married once, right? So let's do it big!

Marriage is not to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly, but reverently and
deliberately. So make sure your bike is in working order before you arrive. And bring
lights, a helmet, and a spare tube or two. And don't forget your wedding dress!

We will leave no trace where we stop. And respect the neighborhoods that we
ride through and the people/cars we encounter along the way.
