SoCalCross Fever Series - Race #3 of 3 - Dam Cross! Hansen Dam Park, Los Angeles

Sunday January 23rd is our final race of the 2010-11 Southern California cyclocross seasonâ€¦ the January 2011 Cross Fever finale, Dam Cross!

Sunday is going to be a fun day in the park complete with lots of racing action for all levels including first timers and a clydesdale division, live music, a super fun course, FREE kids fun race, and we will also award the Best Racers with Cross Fever in 17 categories with custom trophies by Jeff Herring Art!

Hansen Dam Park is home to our 2007 and 2008 UCI Dam Cross events as well as the 2006 District Championships. This classic bowl-like course will be 75% grass, 15%pavement and 10% dirt. New to 'cross? We've got a beginner's clinic at 8:30am and rental CX bikes. Or else bring what you got and give it a shot!

This is also an American Bicycle Racing event, so no USA Cycling license required. Racing begins at 9:30am with our Juniors and Youth race and the day starts with a beginnerâ€™s CX clinic and rental bikes are available for $10. Race entry is $30 adult and $10 Juniors. Additional races are $5. The Youth (under 10) race (under 10) and kids fun races are free.

Weâ€™ll also be awarding a Bailey Oâ€™Brien CX frame and Crank Brothers Candy Spooky Pedals in our grand prize end of season drawing. Race day prizes have been provided by: PricePoint.com, Sock Guy, Michelin, Planet Bike, SixSixOne, Clif Bar, K-Swiss and more! Thanks to you ALL for racing SoCalCross 2010-11!
