L.A. Tweed Ride: Tweed, Moxie and Moustaches
12.11.10
On Saturday, December 11th, 2010 grab a cycle and your finest tweed and join us for a memorable ride
through the Victorian hills of Angelino Heights and the historic core of Downtown Los Angeles.
It will be a ride in two parts:
Noon (about 11 miles including part two)
For the more experienced and adventurous rider, join us first at the Echo Park Lake Boathouse (Echo Park
Ave 90026) for a more brisk ride through the hills of Angelino Heights, winding through historic Chinatown.
**This section is designed for a little higher skill level, including a faster pace, fewer stops and some hills.** At
the completion of this leg, we will take a leisurely rest for tea and treats with all the other lady and gentleman
cyclists at Union Station.
1-o’clock (about 5 miles)
For beginners, families, or those who would prefer an easy-going, sightseeing pace, start at Union Station for
tea and conversation before a ride that meanders among the giants of old Los Angeles.
3-o’clock
End of ride celebration, with contests, prizes, and jubilation, at:
Royal Claytons English Pub
1855 Industrial Street, Los Angeles, CA 90021
