Fugitives - Joker's Wild Ride to the Bicycle Casino

We are riding to the Bicycle Club in Bell Gardens. When we get there, we are going to play a few quick hands of Blackjack or whatever your game of choice is (not Poker, because we are just stopping for max 30 minutes). Keep as much ridiculous cycling gear on in the casino as possible, i.e. helmets etc.

Where to Meet:

Patsaourus Transit Plaza Downtown LA (Behind Union Station)

21 mile loop starting and ending in Downtown LA.

We'll be back in time for Valley riders to catch the Red Line back home.

Meet: 8:20 PM

Ride: 8:30 PM (sharp)

The only time we leave riders behind is if they show up late.

Pace: No Rida Left Behind approx. 10-12 mph cruising pace, definitely NOT a hustle. You can ride any kind of bike on this ride (fixies, roadbikes, hybrids, mountain bikes are fine). Beginners are encouraged to join us. If you want to ride fast, we disclose the route in advance, so go for it.

We usually grab some quick street food along the way - tacos, pupusas, filet mignon etc.

Don't do anything illegal. (tagging, littering, stealing) Remember we are on the run from the law and can't attract unwanted attention!

Bring some music!

Call out road hazards like potholes and railway tracks. There are a lot of train tracks on this route b/c we are passing all the train yards near Downtown. There are also a lot of pockmarked truck roads. Part of the time we will be on the dark LA River trail, so bring good lights & put them on solid instead of pulse when we get into those dark areas.
