Art + Bikes = FUN!!! Urban Expeditions presents the ArtNight Ride

Central Park, Old Pasadena

Riders should meet starting at 6:00pm at Central Park where they can attend a â€œbasic repairâ€ workshop offered by InCycle (6-6:30pm), visit Lineage Dance (6-7pm), check out the C.I.C.L.E. events calendar, or socialize with other cyclists. The ride begins promptly at 7:00pm with stops at the following venues: Pasadena Museum of California Art (â€œPMCAâ€), Pacific Asia Museum, Shumei Arts Council, and Alliance Francaise. Party at the Old Town Pub at the end of the ride!

DATE: Friday, October 8th
TIME: 6:00 pm (ride leaves promptly at 7pm)
LOCATION: Meet at Central Park on E. Dayton St. (north side). Central Park is bound by E. Del Mar Blvd. on the South, Fair Oaks Ave. on the West, and S. Raymond Ave. on the East.
PRICE: Free
WHAT TO BRING: Your bicycle, in good running order, with plenty of night lights. (Please have bike(s) inspected and tuned at least once a year at a bike shop.) All participants under 18 must wear a helmet and be escorted by a parent or guardian. Children under age 8 should be on a tag-a-long, bike trailer, tandem, or other safe child-carrying device to participate in the ride.

Background
Cyclists Inciting Change thru Live Exchange (C.I.C.L.E.) is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization that works with individuals and communities to promote the bicycle as a viable, healthy, and sustainable transportation choice. C.I.C.L.E. projects include Bike Week Pasadena, lifestyle focused and skill-building safety workshops, and Urban Expeditions, a monthly community-focused bicycle ride aimed at getting more people out of their cars and onto bikes. www.CICLE.org 323.478.0060
