Southbay Cruisers: The Wild Kingdom Ride!

WHEN: Sat, Aug 28th, 2010

WHERE: Ride starts and ends at Valley Park in Hermosa Beach. (Corner of Gould Ave and Valley
Drive in Hermosa Beach, CA 90254)

Meet at 7:00/Ride at 7:15PM We will meet at the Kiwani's Club Parking Lot at the south end of the park
as usual.

ARE YOU HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF?...the read on...

By request, this will be our first Wild Kingdom Ride! We will go off on a slow cruiser ride (about 8 - 10
miles) through the Southbay as wild

creatures of any kind...wild animals, wild humans, whatever wild creation you can come up with. We will
barbecue and play games at valley

park after the ride. No need to spend alot on a costume. Get creative and keep things cheap...think of
what you can find at the 99 cent

store or in your closet. Paint a few whiskers on your face and you are a cat..add a few orange and
black stripes and you are a tiger. If you

don't have a favorite animal to dress up as then just dress in what you consider 'wild'...look at the
picture for this meetup-frizz out your hair

and wear some multicolored socks, for example. We will have a special wild animal mix on the soul
cycle for this cruise! After the ride we

will barbecue, and play some games at Valley Park!

WHAT TO BRING: Your bike, a headlight, anything you want to eat and drink in the park at the
barbecue after the ride. (please no alcohol

permitted in valley park.) your favorite animal attire is strongly suggested but not required. If you have
any games that you want to play

bring those too. If you don't have a light for your bike you can buy one at the ride with batteries for $12.
