THE DAME'S RIDE

The Dame's Ride: A women's conditioning and bicycle awareness ride!

WHO CAN COME: Women of a female nature, women needing to get back out on the roads, women
who need more positive riding

experiences, women who need to learn more about the bike the ride and how to fix it when its not
working, women who are looking for riding

buddies and who enjoy the company of other females.

WHY WE STARTED IT ALL: With this ride, we aren't hoping to segregate, but to empower more females
to ride more confidently and in

larger numbers. We would like to see more female faces not because we feel alone, but because we
feel some girls don't want to ride alone

and with a group of females to call on, they can always ride with confidence. We would like to promote
being healthy, being active, bicycle

awareness, women's empowerment, and just general good times!

THIS IS A NO-DRAMA ZONE. If you are looking to start some drama and ruin the ride, go ride with
someone else, please. I don't want to

have to get rid of anyone.. THIS IS NOT A RACE. (though we most likely will be holding some in the
future, CO-ED) PLEASE STAY

BEHIND THE LEAD RIDER!

PACE: SLOW TO MODERATE (for the first week or so) The pace will be fit for first timers, but WILL,
with each week, progress to a faster

pace.

WHERE: SUNSET AND VERMONT REDLINE STATION

WHEN: 6:30 p.m.

ROLL OUT: 7 p.m. SHARP, EVERY TUESDAY

ROUTE: T.B.A AT THE RIDE, BY ME. ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW IS WE END WHERE WE START..
15 MILES TONIGHT.

WHAT TO BRING: Helmet (optional if you are 18+) FRONT AND BACK LIGHTS, extra inner tubes, tire
levers, pump, patch kit, money,

I.D., and whatever else you think you might need.. oh, and weed :D

PLEASE MAKE SURE::::Your bike needs to be in good working condition, if it needs help, fix it up
BEFORE tuesday. I can fix your bike, but

i'm not a bike shop, if you need help, contact me before the ride, PLEASE. I'm more than willing to help
you with minor fixes like tire changing

and adjustments. :::::::
