Sublimely Self-Righteous Ride to Stone Brewery

Ride to the STONE BREWERY in Escondido, California and participate in the FREE brewery tour and tasting.

Details:
We will ride from LBC to Escondido to visit the fine Stone Brewery. Then, we will camp overnight in
Escondido and return to Stone the following day for a Brewery Tour/liquid breakfast.

Meet up-

Long Beach Performing Arts Center Plaza, at Long Beach Bl and Ocean. (on block south of Long Beach
1st Street Blue Line Station (corner of 1st and Long Beach Blvd.))

Meet Time: 9:45 AM

The route:

BIKE from LB to Oceanside, California
We will regroup in Oceanside and decide how we feel about riding the last 18-20 miles or taking the
SPRINTER TRAIN to Escondido. Some may ride the whole way, others may train. It's up to you, choose
your own adventure style.

I and others will camp at href="http://www.ci.escondido.ca.us/glance/lakes/dixon/camping/index.html">Dixon Lake Campground,
so we welcome you to join us. If not, come for the Saturday rde and brewery fresh beers on Saturday.
Return trip (Sunday):

PACIFIC SURFLINER/Metrolink to Union Station, DTLA
(The cost of 27 bucks, but if I get some confirmed people we might work out some discounts, or so I hope)

I also expect some sort of beachside picnic/rest-stop. The route is almost entirely along the coast and
mostly flat/downhill.

Total bike mileage: 69-89 miles

WHAT TO BRING:

Helmets, Tubes, tools, water etc

Money for trains and food

Determination
