Live Sea Urchin ride hollywood>redondo beach>hollywood.

The Live Sea Urchin ride is going down this saturday April 17th. meet at the donut shop on the corner of Olympic/La Brea at 11am OR meet at the Ballona Creek bridge at noon. Ride is about 45 miles round trip from hollywood to ballona creek path to Redondo beach harbor and return via same route.

The point of the ride is to go to Quality Seafood restaurant in redondo harbor, eat some seafood (vegetarian-vegan options available), drink some beer and enjoy the ocean breezes enroute.

The name of the ride comes from the live sea urchins that are available for purchase at Quality seafood. Quite the delicacy, also known as uni sushi...

there are no hills on this route but having a bike that can make a 45 mile trip is essential. we can offer some mechanical help but try to be self sufficient. tempo is medium (not wolfpack speed, not critical mass speed).
