Short bursts plus one long climb should get ya in the mood for the toughest hill rides in LA.
We'll meet at the gas station on 14th and Pico in Santa Monica at 8am, ride out at 8:30am. We'll start with a mini sprint up and down
the hills that run between Euclid and 11th, between Pico and Ocean Park. Sprint up, left turn for a flat block, left turn down the hill,
sharp right flat block, and then sprint up the next hill. Repeat ten times. It's only one block climbs but these hills are often walked, and
going full blast is good training for Swarm's ride on March 28.
After that little warm up we can ride out and climb either Westridge (off Mandevile) or Mountaingate (off Sepulveda). Those are both out
-and-back climbs, both as long as the longest thing on FML, and about as steep. If we're up for it maybe we'll do both climbs.
After all that jamming we'll grill at my place near the starting point. It's a vegan-friendly-but-not-exclusive BBQ.
