What's up Midnight Ridazz!
Thank you for your interest and Support of the the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). Sounds like you all know how to have a great time, and we'd like to invite you all out on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at 8:00 a.m. for the "LAPD's Ride to Arrest Cancer," where an anticipated 500 riders will join together to raise awareness about cancer, learn the importance of cancer prevention and pay tribute to those affected by cancer.
On the day of the event, participants will have the option of riding the: Infraction Route (15 miles), Misdemeanor Route (25 miles) or Felony Route (50 miles). LAPD Motor and Bike Officers will escort the cyclists through the San Fernando Valley and make brief stops at Valley Community Police Stations then return to Valley Traffic Division for a BBQ Lunch, Health & Wellness Fair and to visit with officers from Air Support Division, the LAPD SWAT Team, Recruitment and K-9 Units, just to mention a few.
We hope that you and members of your organization will consider joining us for this fun and worth-while charity event. Registration is now open, so please register at: www.ridetoarrestcancer.com.
In addition, we respectfully request that you pass along the information to anyone who may like to join us.
For more information, please call me, or Officer Robert Norman, at (661) 733-7069.
