Culver City Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Public Workshop

01.30.10

Date: Saturday, January 30, 2010
Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm
Location:
Veteran's Memorial Auditorium, Garden Room
4117 Overland Avenue
Culver City, CA

WHAT?

A meeting will be held to seek public input related to the proposed bicycle and pedestrian network. Input is also being solicited online at http://www.ccwalkbike.org/

WHY?

The City is developing its first comprehensive Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. This plan will guide improvements for cycling and walking citywide. It is important for increasing connectivity between West LA and Downtown LA as well as the upcoming Expo Line!

We invite you to join us at a public meeting on January 30th to help shape this important policy document. The first part of the meeting will focus on the City Council-appointed Public Advisory Committee (PAC). Following the PAC, there will be a workshop during which you will get a chance to learn about the proposed bicycle and pedestrian network and provide your input on it through interactive, small group break-out session.

Topics for discussion at the meeting will include the proposed bicycle and pedestrian networks as well as the proposed project that will guide bicycle riders between east Culver City and downtown. Also, whether or not you can attend the meeting, you are encouraged to view and provide input on the proposed networks through February 5th by going to the Culver City Bicycle and Pedestrian Initiative website at http://www.ccwalkbike.org/.

HOW?

By foot, bike, bus, car (all modes welcome!). Bicycle and vehicle parking available. For information on Culver CityBus routes visit: http://culvercity.org/Government/Transportation/Bus.aspx
