Spoke(n) Art Ride - Hippy Summer Camp
06.9.07
Saturday, June 9, 2007
START TIME: 6:30 pm (rides will leave until about 7:45 p.m.)
This Saturday, June 9, 2007 the Spoke(n) Art Ride will once again roll through North East Los Angeles, stopping at several art galleries open for NELA Art's gallery night, and end at the Space Ark gallery in Highland Park. Weirdness will ensue.
This month, the ride will start at the Space Ark Gallery located at 106 South Avenue 58, Highland Park, CA 90042 (by the intersection of Avenue 58 and Figueroa).
Meet at Space Ark at around 6:30 p.m., the first ride of the night will leave at 7 p.m., with more to follow depending on the crowd that shows up.
All the rides will finish back at Space Ark, where some sort of freestyle bike expo, bike art show, bike races, and assorted mayhem (?) and creative indulgences will be taking place.
Bring your money (to buy art), your bike, your friends, their bikes, some blinky lights, and an attitude that will get you through what will surely be a strange evening out in the wilds of the NELA.
Oh, no foam hats required, no fees to pay, nor releases to sign. Donatin' sum $ to the galleries wouldn't hurt, however.
The ride begins and ends at:
