Yes, you can get involved in the fabulous live sea urchin ride. about 50 miles round trip

meet up at Cafe Tropical at sunset/silver lake bl at noon saturday, leave by 12:10 at the latest.

Ride down to the Ballonna Creek bike path, down to the balonna creek bridge

Also westsiders can meet up at the Ballona Creek bridge at 1:30 pm

continue down beach bike path to Quality Seafood in Redondo beach Harbor, fill up on fish , live sea urchin and beer (vegetarian/vegan

options), then hit Najas in the harbor, which has the best tap beer selection in california. Then ride back via same path.

must have a decent road bike or singlespeed/ fixed ( no hills to speak of). bring tubes, some warm layers to wear

tempo is medium up.

bring LIGHTS!!!! we will be coming back in the dark.

if you have never eaten a live sea urchin, it is very strange....quite the delicacy...
