The EHNHDUUURR!!!! Ride: Mormons of Metal, vol. II

[disclaimer: THIS RIDE IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY RELIGION!! The name comes from our tendency to ride through the Mormon Temple, especially during the Holiday Season when everything is lit up. And our penchant for Metal. I have thought about reading a passage from the Old Testament before the ride starts, just for yucks, while handing out PBRs, but in addition to remaining secular, I certainly don't want to offend anyone. That ain't cool.]

The EHNHDUUURR!!!! Ride (pronounced exactly how it looks, and sounds nothing like "endure") is a relatively mild ride around the Westside. We pedal about 20 miles (usually), we're easily distracted by unscheduled adventures and kogi trucks, and no one gets left behind. Bring lights, as we usually hop on the dark, mysterious Ballona Creek path for a spell, or show up early to grab one of the demo lights that Cynergy lets us use. Time: Meet at 8:30 p.m., leave at 9:00 p.m.

Place: Cynergy Cycles parking lot, 2300 Santa Monica Blvd

Pace: Leisurely trot, with the occasional prance

Hills: Nah, not really

Ending: Back at the shop around 10 p.m., usually
