CANCELED: City Slickers' to the Southeast Re-Ride

This is like a re-ride of our old ride City Slickers' to the Southeast Ride, but not. So read on...



Main Details:



Ride starts in the parking lot closest to the street in front of La Curacao in Huntington Park [5980
Pacific Blvd., Huntington Park, Ca 90255]. Meet up time is still in the air: Around 7:30-8:00PM style="font-size:9px;">1. We will ride out 30 minutes after SHARP!



I have ridden the route and this should be a Slow (not turtles pace) to Medium speed ride. If all the
riders who show up aren't super beginners, then we might either detour a bit, go farther2, or chill at the stops a little longer!



There is a 7-11 and a CVS down the street for those of you interested that want to stock up before
the ride starts!





Rant:



Welcome all to the City Slickers' to the Southeast Ride!



We will be begin this trip heading south on Pacific Blvd., navigating our way through Bell, Downey
and maybe Norwalk on the way to the Southeast!Bring yourself and a friend, water, REAR and FRONT
lights please (as we are ridding in the night!), tubes, tools and whatever other accessories you might need!



We have a route, but as always, you can make any suggestions on the forums or on the ride, or the
route can change unexpectedly! But please feel free to suggest some sights, as I still don't know the area
all that much, and we would like to stop at some great spots!!



This is a ride ride, so there will be limited (but decent) stops; But everyone is still encouraged to ride!!
Come on folks! It will be great!!





Uhm, Other Notes:



2 Our last ride was suppose to finish at the Norwalk Metro Green
Line Station but we decided to end it early because it was getting later than anticipated. Today's ride will
stop in Downey. However, with enough votes on ride day, we can continue on so those that need to take
the train can. It's relatively easy to get to regardless!



- For those riding the train, you can get to the ride by taking the Blue Line to the Slauson Station, and
ridding about a mile east!
