Ride to UCLA Pro-Test for Science

START TIME: 3:30pm

On October 24th at 5pm, with the group UCLA Pro-Test for Science, we will be showing our support for humane and regulated biomedical research. UCLA researchers have been harassed and attacked by animal rights terrorists for years. These extremists spread lies and misinformation to sway public opinion, and use violence and threats to scare researchers from conducting important, life-saving research. Animal research has saved countless human and animal lives daily, and incredible progress continues to be made. We have first-hand experience with UCLA primate and animal research, and we feel strongly about both animal welfare AND medical research. Come join us, researchers, students, and other rational, educated people to show our support for biomedical research and those who conduct it.

We will ride out from CRANK Mob park at at 3:30pm to join the protest at 5pm.

Since the reason for the protest is to counter a candlelight vigil held by the extremists in honor of National Primate Liberation Week, we will have free bananas, and if the electronics gods are with us, monkey-themed music.
