The name of the ride comes from the way they run things in Chicago. During Critical
Mass, they yell "HAPPY FRIDAY" to be friendly or even alleviate tension with drivers,
pedestrians, etc. The simple phrase "HAPPY FRIDAY" can turn a smile into a frown!
