Sorry for the lateness!!

For those of you who don't know 8-9-09 will be the 40 year anniversary of one of the most notorious murders in history, at least in pop culture history, which led to a string of notorious murders lovingly refered to by "The Family" as Helter Skelter. This crazy stuff happened right here in our Los Angeles. This ride is a tour of some of the places around town having to do with the murders, the victims and the trial.

Manson, who was also an aspiring musician, had ties to the Beach Boys, thru Dennis Wilson... this song was written by Manson (but changed a bit by the Beach Boys)

I am no expert on the subject, but became pretty fascinated w/ the whole thing recently and though it would be interesting to make a night of it.

Ride will be an easy pace, not too difficult. (unless only a few people show up then were gonna go nuts and climb some hills)

PLEASE be respectful of the places we visit. We will make "refreshment" stops... don't do anything "witchy" or you will be called out.... in a very public way.... meaning NO STEALING AT STOPS.
