START LOCATION: Sepulveda Blvd. Orange Line Station
Approximately a 2hr. recreational ride in the evening starting from the Sepulveda Blvd. Orange Line Bus Station in the San Fernando Valley. This will be the third in an ongoing series of rides highlighting various routes within The Valley. This is not a race, or training ride in any sense, just a hopefully fun midweek ride to give you an excuse to get off the couch and ride your bike.
We'll meet at 7:30pm and rollout at approximately 8pm and return to the station by around 10:30pm.
The Sepulveda Station is a Park and Ride, so if you would prefer to drive to the starting point, you can leave your car in the parking lot for free.
***Please Note: If you are planning on taking the Red Line and are unable to bring your bike on the train (bikes are not allowed on the Red Line until after 6:30pm between Union Station and Wilshire/Vermont but are allowed on the Red Line at any time between Wilshire/Vermont and North Hollywood), you can take an earlier (and faster) MetroLink from Union Station to Downtown Burbank. From the Downtown Burbank MetroLink station, bike down the the Chandler bike path to the Orange Line (approximately a 5 mile bike ride), and take the Orange Line to the Sepulveda Blvd. Orange Line Station.
