Ride Arc
04.6.07
Friday April 6
START TIME: 9:30pm meet at 9.
This is from the Ride-Arc site... I am NOT in charge of this ride, just posting it as a public service.
RIDE-info: Oh yes, we're covering a lot of ground here. The route
is roughly 23-25 miles of sweet, sweet goodness (on Good Friday, no
less) with a few hills, hidden passage ways and gems along the route.
Portions of the route may tease the memories of some of our riders
who have subscribed to the rides and supported us for these years -
and for those of you new to this, you certainly will enjoy the small
discoveries you'll see along the way.
Weather: Evening will be comfortable and cool. We hope. Big, large,
obtrusive props, a thank you and shout-outs to the Earth for changing
its orientation on axis to the Sun recently. It made a world of a
difference.
THE MEETING PLACE FOR THIS RIDE IS AT THE SCI-ARC PARKING LOT, 9 PM -
WE RIDE BY 9:30
Map: http://tinyurl.com/jv5pg
Getting to the meeting place:
- No car? Take the Red or Gold Line to Union Station -> Alameda South
-> Left on Traction (just after 2nd Street) -> end of the street.
- Driving/carpooling there? PLENTY of parking available at the school
that never sleeps.
There are no requirements of ability or skill to ride with everyone -
just bring your own bike! Any bike! Road, MTB, Fixed Gear, BMX,
Cruisers, Choppers, LowRiders...
It is open to anyone and everyone! Bring your friends, family,
significant others!
A helmet is a good idea if you've got one, but it is optional and we
ride safely. If you've got a light, bring it lit up - the more the
better.
No rider left behind!
