EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB 2ND GEAR ANNIVERSARY COMMUNITY BIKE RIDE

EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB CELEBRATES OUR 2ND YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH A
COMMUNITY BIKE RIDE, MUSIC AND FIREWORKS

On Saturday June 26th, the EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB will be celebrating our 2nd Year Anniversary with a community bike ride thru the streets of Northeast Los Angeles. The event starts at Lincoln Park in Lincoln Heights , just 5 minutes Northeast of Downtown LA. Bike riders are invited to join our celebration by arriving at Lincoln Park at 3pm to start decorating their bikes RED, WHITE and BLUE (It’s the weekend before the 4th of July), check air pressure on tires and make minor adjustments to bikes.

The ride will depart at 4:30pm and pedal at a casual pace thru the communities of El Sereno, Lincoln Heights , Chinatown, Downtown LA, Little Tokyo, over the LA River via the 4th Street Bridge, to the Mariachi Plaza in Boyle Heights and back to Lincoln Park where riders will picnic.

Los Angeles City RecrParks and Recreation will provide bands and DJ’s playing music. The featured band will be none other than Eastsides own “WILLIE G”.

At dusk there will bea FIREWORKS SHOW!

This event is open to the public and is FREE.

All ages and abilities are welcomed.

What to Bring: A bike in good working order. Bells, Whistles, and Horns

*Kids under 18 years of age must wear a helmet.

Helmets are available to loan for the ride –

*Money to buy your meal if you do not pack one or purchase a meal for $12.00 Eastside Bike Club Fundraiser

Most of all bring a GOOD ATTITUDE and be ready to experience a fun casual paced ride with some GREAT PEOPLE.

*** We planning a picnic and are asking everyone to pitch in $15 per person if you plan on eating with the group. We need to purchase food, plates, cups, drinks etc. WE NEED EVERYONE TO RSVP and pay prior to the THURSDAY, June 25th in order to give us enough time to purchase everything.
