* This is a 6 lap (1.5 km) Scratch Race.

* First across the finish line is the winner.

* All riders must wear a bag with content weighing the equivalent of the Los Angeles Times (Sunday edition).

* Street clothing and shoes required. No visible spandex/lycra.

* Fixed gear only, no brakes

* All riders must wear a helmet.

* All riders must have track experience.

* 24 rider field limit

Best Bike Contests

* Winner determined in elimination rounds by spectator applause - bring your friends.

* Categories for Best Track Race Bike, Best Road Fixie and Best Lowrider.

* Winner takes all their competitor's entry fees
