WEST LA QUICKIE - Cruisin' Sunset Strip

This is a quasi-hustle ride. There will be hills. There will be pacelining (maybe). There will be sprinting. There will be few stops. There will be sweating, grunting moaning, bitching and whining. It will all be worth it, though.

On this ride we cruise the Sunset Strip with all of the other douchebags on a beautiful Friday evening. While they polish their nails in their stagnant Bentleys and Porsches we'll cut through lanes with Campy and Castelli. Our bling will triumph. So clean ya clothes and clip ya toes; this is a rock-on-with-yo-strap-on ride. We may not have sleeve tatoos and designer bedhead, but we will have thighs like thoroughbreads.

Meet time: 9:00 - Departure time: 9:30 sharp

Meet point: Ivy Substation (Crank Mob Park at Ince and Culver)

Route: Motor, Rodeo, Sunset, La Brea, Wilshire, Westwood, Venice, 40 oz High Life.

Stop one: park at Rodeo and Sunset.

Stop two: In n' Out at Sunset and La Brea.

Dress to impress people. We're going into the heart of materialism and conventionally accepted counter-culture and we wouldn't want to look like the proles we are, right? Yes, I will be wearing my girlfriend's pants just in case someone sees me.
