2nd Anniversary!

Two years ago, as part of the Bike Winter festivities, cyclists rode to the Bicycle Advisory Committee to urge them to...ah...represent the cycling community.

Since then, we have ridden to every meeting, banging the drum and fighting for a more inclusive and representative process.

It has been a long journey but the City Council recognized the efforts and intervened, reorganizing the Bicycle Advisory Committee and directing the City Attorney to participate in training the LADOT and the LABAC on the State's open meetings law. (the Brown Act)

Tonight we ride to celebrate the journey, the repeal of the Bike License law and the moratorium on enforcement, the selection of a new head of the Bikeways department and, most of all, our right to ride the streets of Los Angeles.

We meet at REDquarters
Santa Monica & Vermont Red Line Station
gather @ 5:30, ride @ 6:00, meeting starts @7:00

We ride to the LABAC meeting at Parker Center - 6:00 pm.

The meeting starts at 7:00 pm.
