Intro to Track Racing Clinic @ Encino Velodrome 7 PM BBQ and Orientation

Come out and spend a Wednesday Night at the track and get more info on the 6 week course that takes you from a newbie track rider to Cat 5 Racer! You'll learn everything from riding in a paceline, flying 200s, time trials, mass starts, and even breaking away. Get accustomed to racing in a non-competitive field so you'll be ready to race next season!

On August the 4th, we will host an orientation night to assess each rider's abili...ties and review the curriculum. You will have a chance to sign up for remaining open slots on that night. It is recommended that you have ridden in the velodrome, taken the beginner class, or have extensive fast group riding experience.

Please bring a fixed-gear track bike, with drops, and no brakes, helmet, and clipless pedals strongly recommended. Rental bikes are available on a first come first serve basis and priority for those who are in for the 6 week sessions. (I'd recommend gearing about 48x15)

The cost for the 6 sessions is a prepaid $60. Sessions take place every Wednesday nights from 7:30-10:30.
