START TIME: 6pm - 11pm










This Saturday, February 10, 2007, starting at 6 p.m. and ending late at night, the BikeWinter 2007 Eastside Party is going to go off at SpaceArk gallery in Highland Park. SpaceArk is located at 106 S. Avenue 58 in Highland Park (nearest cross-street is Figueroa).



There will be multiple bike-tours to different galleries in the area, taking advantage of NELA Art's "Second Saturday" event - when numerous galleries open their doors up to the public into the wee hours of the night.



To hook up with a gallery tour, meet at SpaceArk Gallery - the starting and ending point for the nights festivities. There is going to a special show put on by the mad geniuses at SpaceArk entitled "Helical Transmigrations". It's gonna be cool



Later in the evening the band "The Primos: will spank you into a frenzy, you can check out their myspace. We'll also be having a BICYCYLE FASHION SHOW featuring the work of the one and only JEN DIAMOND. The folks at C.I.C.L.E.org will be in the house - with properganda galore.



Oh yeah, and FOOD NOT BOMBS with the grinds, pinatas, fire, a portapotty, and the ARAMDILLO ALLEY RAT RACE ($5 in, rain or shine, winner takes that $). And don't forget the damn RAFFLE!!



Muchas Gracias to the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council for helping put this together, to the BikeWinter 2007 crew (Jen!), SpaceArk for their generosity and vision, Armadillos 42 for the backup, Chavez Ravine Steve for the assists, Arturo on Griffin for the support, Dingo and Jessie, Nelly, Big Dan, and all the Rising Sons for leaving too many cigarette butts and not enough skid marks on the streets in front of my house. And, of course the whole Bike Oven posse.
