THIS IS AN OPEN INVITATION

If you're going to either Friday Night Eastside ride--or even if you're not--please consider making a donation to the Midnight Mission. If you don't already know, this is a great charity in the heart of Los Angeles that helps needy people get back on their feet. I wouldn't endorse it if I didn't feel that they made the best use of their resources, and they do.

So please, reach to the back of your cupboard and grab that can of beans that you keep staring at. Fill your messenger bag with all the old clothes that you wore before you lost all that weight. It will only take a few minutes. If there isn't anyone there to accept the donation, they have invited us to drop it off on their doorstep.

It's just minutes away from the ride and you will be doing a world of good. Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for your generousity.
