Southbay Cruisers: The Roller Derby Ride III - A Night to Dis Member

THE ROLLER DERBY RIDE III: A NIGHT TO DIS MEMBER!!!!



This will be the last ACDG Roller Derby Ride until the season starts up again next spring. If you missed the first two roller derby rides, you won't want to miss this one!!!If you made one or both of the first two roller derby rides you know how much fun they are!



WHEN: November 1st, 2008

We Meet at 6:45PM/We ride at 7:00PM SHARP!!!

(The game starts at 8:00PM Sharp so we have to leave on time)



WHERE: Ride Starts and ends in front of the Lighthouse Cafe(30 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach, CA)



WHAT: We will meet in front of Hermosa Pier dressed in whatever costume you want to wear. Remember this is ACDG Roller Derby...people like to dress in different costumes, and this is the day after Halloween so this is definitely a night to recycle your costume from the previous night if you wish. We will take a bicycle friendly route to the game which will be held at:



The Toyota Center

555 Nash Street

El Segundo, CA



We've ridden to this game twice now. It's a really fun ride partly along the bike path, manhattan beach neighborhoods, through the Nash Street "Roller Coaster" tunnel, and industrial-largely car free areas of El Segundo.



We will arrive at the Toyota Center, enjoy the game and then ride back as a group back to Hermosa Beach.



THE RIDE AS ALWAYS IS FREE...THE GAME AS ALWAYS IS NOT. Fortunately we have negotiated a special rate for Southbay Cruisers. If you click on the attached link you can purchase tickets for $10 - $5 off the regular price. http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/44381 (password is 'cruisers')



You can also buy paper tickets from me the day of the ride. Although I encourage you to buy them online as I only have a limited number of paper tickets. PLEASE DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE DAY OF THE GAME TO BUY YOUR TICKETS...if i run out of paper tickets you will end up paying full price.



OTHER THINGS TO BRING TO THIS RIDE:



A Lock for your bike - You will need to lock it up during the game

A Headlight is required - We will be riding at night; flashers are also strongly suggested.

(If you want you can purchase a headlight and/or flasher at the ride from me w/batteries for $12. Please email me if you want to take advantage of this offer.)
