This is a little game we could play with open entry, and it can last a whole month. Here's how it works.
1. You're riding down a busy street one day during lunch hour, looking for something to eat. Suddenly your senses are heightened, you have predatory instincts, and your adrenaline is flowing. You've found your prey. The goal of the game is to chase down as many riders that are marked for open hunting. When you chase them down, they are required to hand you one of their spoke cards, to mark your catch.
2. You have to make your own spoke cards. The only requirement is that you have an ID number on your spoke card, for later reference and counting. You can design it any way you want, but it must be visible while riding. You can hang them on your bag by punching a hole and passing a keyring through them. You will want to make a dozen or so and make more later as you get rid of them. Remember you don't necessarily lose the game by giving away spoke cards. You win the game by gaining spoke cards.
3. Keep all catch cards earned private. Do not reveal the number of catches you have. The goal is to have as many as possible in the end for medals.
4. You must have your catch cards visible before, during, and after a catch to receive a catch card. If your catch cards are not visible, catch is not valid. Keep a lookout on your back, which you should always be doing when riding in traffic. if you see someone on your tail, shake em!
5. A catch can be defined as a tag on the body, or passing the rider ahead by full bike length.
6. Open Season is not to be exercised during other organized rides. There will be open season hunting gatherings that we will set up borders depending on the turnout of people and hunt in the streets.
