Justify your 3-day-weekend boozing by burning some calories and flushing some salt from your pores as we swing around my 'hood and up to the griffith park observatory, then over to the bike district for a victory beer/scoop (assuming they're open) before joining pavetheplanet's BBQ hang in Angelino heights (after a shower, hopefully).

Pace will be somewhere around raccoons/k-townish, depending on how i'm feeling...aka a 'cruisey-hustle' or 'crustle'. 18-20 on flats would be my guess. Gonna shoot for 30 or so miles including the climb to the observatory, all in the environs of downtown/echo park/silverlake/griffith park. Be aware we may be playing with a lickle traffic in a couple places.
