Mountaineerzz: year one, Rerun!

Date: Saturday 8.23.08

Meeting Place:
Sunset & Fairfax (in the Rite Aid parking lot)
But don't park in the lot--they ticket.

Time:
1:30pm meet-up, roll at 2pm

Get your dance crew together. It's time for some poppin' and lockin'.

To celebrate our first anniversary, we're repeating our inaugural
ride which will take us on to trails in the 323, 818 and 310 before capping off the ride with a visit to a jump
park.

There's something like 60 outrageous jumps in a row, so all you
air heads are encouraged to bring your best big-jump bike.

Or just come out and take the richtotheie challenge - ride the
same course he conquered using only his big chainring.

The route will end at the start-point around sundown.

Mountaineerzz is a monthly, fast-ass, all-terrain [road & dirt] ride.

Mountaineerzz ride on singletrack, fireroads and pavement.

All Ridazz are welcome, but this ain't a ride for anyone new to off-road riding.

Think Wolfpack/Cubpack/Bicykillers-with-knobby-tires, so those who don't have

the skillzz may be left behind.

If you aren't riding a hard-tail, full-suspension, crossbike, 29er, freakbike, single speed,
your lilttle bro's Huffy or any other quick, singletrack-worthy
bike you will likely have a hard time keeping up.

As we'll be riding technical trails in some remote locations, helmets are strongly

recommended.
