The Bossy Ride (all girls)

So,Jackie and I have determined that it is time to unite all of the girls who ride and to have a fun day in the sun and take a break from all the testosterone that we're constantly surrounded by. Mark your calenders for Saturday, August 16th! We're meeting at the Islands Grill/Restaurant at Bella Terra 12:00 pm and taking off 12:30. The plan is to ride to the Newport/Balboa area for some lunch. And maybe some time to get rid of our bike tans :) This will be an easy ride, and no one will get dropped, and we will take breaks as needed.

THINGS TO BRING:

money(at least 1.50 to take the ferry back)

sunscreen,

water,

clothing items that minimize tan lines,

a sack lunch if you dont want to purchase,

and a couple of bike tools to be safe. (tubes, levers, etc.)

P.S. To all of the boys, please be respectful of our ride, We can't make you NOT come but obviously we'd prefer this to be a girl's day out. And keep your rude comments about kitchens and cleaning to your own damned self.

And Ladies, please keep in mind that Jackie and I tried to take a lot of things into account planning this out; such as freeway accessibility, road conditions, and ease of ride. So your suggestions are definitely welcome, but there is no real room for drastic change. So who's up for it?!
