Calling all cyclocross, 29er, MTB and single speed riders...

Mountaineerzz: Mandeville, Mullholland, Mud

Saturday 7.26.08

Meeting Place:
Sunset & Fairfax (Rite Aid parking lot)

Time:
2pm meet-up, Rolling by 2:30p

Westside Hook-Up Spot:

Whole Foods at 11737 San Vicente in Brentwood

Time:
3:15-ish arrival, Rolling by 3:30-ish

Mandeville, Mulholland, Mud; would you settle for two out of three?

We'll climb the Mandeville Fire Road (car free!) to dirt Mulholland before
heading west to the Angle of Top, Topangle Canyon.

We'll crown our dirt adventure with a break at the beach and then head back to our start point.

This route is cyclocross bike-friendly (save for a couple of monster-cross
single track trails) but you're more than welcome to bring a 29er, mountain bike or single speed.

Mountaineerzz is a monthly, fast-ass, all-terrain [road & dirt] ride.

Mountaineerzz ride on singletrack, fireroads and pavement.

All Ridazz are welcome, but this ain't a ride for anyone new to off-road riding.

Think Wolfpack/Cubpack/Bicykillers-with-knobby-tires, so those who don't have
the skillzz may be left behind.

If you aren't riding a hard-tail, full-suspension, crossbike, 29er, Brassknuckles'
tall bike, single speed, a Pacific Wal Mart special or any other quick,
singletrack-worthy bike you will likely have a hard time keeping up.

As we'll be riding technical trails in some remote locations, helmets are strongly
recommended.
