MEMORIAL DAY BEACH RIDE !!!!!

Come join us for a celebratory ride along the beach and its accompanying land in
remembrance of those who have fallen for this country. They will always be
remembered and never forgotten. This is a celebration of life, so bring your good
spirits, memorabilia, and feel free to pay homage to those who have died in military
service in any way you see fit.
This is a celebration, first and foremost – you are required to enjoy yourself!
Any breed of bicycle, every level of fun & excitement. The sky is the limit.
Let everyone see & hear our joy and appreciation!
Start / End: Cannon at Santa Monica Pier
Meet at 2pm, ride at 3pm.
Drinks, frisbee, pinkberry, mustache bridge, venice canals, and fresh air.

Around 15 miles (round trip)
We will walk our bikes down the Santa Monica Pier and get onto the bike path to start out with.
No riders will be left behind, and we will be returning to the start point for those who will be
parking in Santa Monica.
STOP POINTS:
START AT SANTA MONICA PIER
Surf Liquor (near Main & Ocean Park)
Windward Circle (very quick regroup)
Nick's Liquor (quick supply stop here, head out to the Venice Pier when finished)
Venice Pier (chill out for a 'lil while)
Fisherman's Village (quick restroom stop if necessary)
MUSTACHE BRIDGE (to marvel at its mysteriousness)
BEGIN RETURN TRIP
Pinkberry / Ralph's (there is a nice little area outside of Pinkberry where we could eat some yogurt)
Venice Boardwalk (play some frisbee in the grassy area, restroom break)
RIDE BACK TO SANTA MONICA PIER
Route is tentative. Depending on how many pedestrians are out on the coastal bike path, we might take Main
all the way back to Santa Monica from the Venice Boardwalk.
