C.I.C.L.E.'s Car-Free Hauliday Toys 'n' Mittens Ride 12-2 @ 12:30PM
12.2.06
Saturday December 2, 2006
START TIME: 12:30 PM
Meet at 12:30 PM at the Vermont / Sunset Red Line Station, 1500 N. Vermont Av.
This is the perfect ride to bring a newbie to or your mom and dad or some kids on. It is just a little over 5 miles around the Hollywood/Silver Lake hood, easy paced, stop at lights, take our time and enjoy the day.
Bring toys and warm clothes to share with families in need. Suggested gift items include new and unwrapped toys, warm gloves and hats for children (especially the hats with ear flaps). You don't have to spend a lot. Kids gloves at many of the big box pharmacies are about $1.99 a pair. Just bring what you can.
Deck out your bikes and don your finest hauliday duds for this festive bicycle ride that will tour Hollywood and surrounding neighborhoods blastin' hauliday tunes from one of our community's famous bike-hauled sound systems.
This ride will benefit the Hollywood Sunset Free Clinic's Children's Family Celebration and the Homeless Family Christmas Day Luncheon.
