Imperial Century TRAINING RIDE (a.k.a. DannyZuko Is A Sadist)

START TIME: Meet @ 10AM, ride at 10:30AM. This gives all you Friday night heathens a chance to get some sleep.

Meet at: Melrose and Heliotrope

This ride will be a training ride for the Imperial Century. It is an ALC training ride, but anyone who wants to ride a Metric Century (62 odd miles) is certainly welcome to come out. Pace will be MODERATE. This isn't a hustle, but this also won't be a snail's crawl. There will be appropriate stops; we'll wait for the whole group to catch up at the top of all hills. We will party with an early dinner at Pure Luck when we're done, followed by some Scoops.

We will start out at The Bicycle Kitchen and, in just 62 miles, conquer some of the gnarliest hills and bomb some of the best downhills in one single day. Nichols Canyon, Laurel Canyon, Barham, Mt Hollywood Road, Griffith Observatory, The Rose Bowl, Chevy Chase....Yeah. It's a lot. This ride will make DannyZuko cry for his mother. It will also be incredibly rewarding and a whole lot of fun!
