MIDNIGHT RIDAZZ PRESENTS:
THE GRATEFUL DEAD TIE-DYED RIDE!!
As the song goes, "The kids they dance, they shake their bones!!" Pull out your Dead T-shirts or Tie
Dyed Shirts and get ready to enjoy a warm summer night of Riding and Grateful Dead Music all linked
together courtesy of BBD/Thinkpeace/ Digabel Soul and other sound systems available at that time.
We'll meet at 9pm at the Chinatown Metro Station (the ride will also end here too) and roll at 10pm. This
ride will have a sweep crew to 'leave no trace' as well as offer maintenance support for flat tires, etc. The
ride will average between 15-20 miles and is a slower, social ride that will take into consideration newer riders
or those on Beach Cruiser-type bikes. The route will travel on some tasty roads and will attempt to avoid any
serious hills. If you are looking for a fast ride, please wait for Wolfpack, Cub Camp, etc.
Our stops will be around 15 minutes long and most, if not all will have bathroom facilities. In the fashion
of the late, great, Bill Graham, we will play "Greensleeves" when it is time to roll. (At the end of Dead shows in
San Francisco, Bill Graham always played Greensleeves to alert the fans that it was time to leave the venue)

As most are aware, we've had some unfortunate accidents and other unfortunate situations on recent
rides. If you are new to night time, group rides, please note these general rules to make your and
others ride a safe and enjoyable experience:
Top Ten -Rules for Ridazz
1. SAFETY FIRST! Keep enough distance between Ridazz! Eyes on the Road!
2. Hold your LINE! Especially on those corners and down those hills!
3. Communicate – Call out dangers in the road – “Tracks!”, cars approaching - “Car back!”,
fallen ridazz - “Rida down!” and upcoming turns or stops. Pass it on!!
4. Act responsibly. Your actions have consequences! They also reflect on the group as a
whole…so please…DON’T BE STUPID!!!!
5. Ride predictably – Signal your intentions (verbally or physically), NO sudden stops!
No silly tricks!
6. Watch your speed. If you want to ride fast do NOT expect the group to follow at your
pace. Stay behind the music trailer or ride leader.
7. If the police show up, do NOT antagonize them. Comply with their requests in a civilized
and respectful manner. If you get ticketed and think it is unfair, DISPUTE IT!
8. If you see anyone failing to observe these basic guidelines, TELL THEM!
9. Leave no TRACE! Do not litter. SRSLY.
10. Most importantly, have F.U.N!!
