Date Posted: Dec 27, 2010 Published On: www.trafficaccidentnewsandadviceblog.com Jurgen Ankenbrand, 69, was killed in an Orange County car accident when he was struck by two vehicles while riding his bicycle. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the fatal bicycle accident occurred the evening of December 22, 2010 at the intersection of Brookhurst Street and Villa Pacific Drive in Huntington Beach. The driver of a Toyota 4Runner crashed into Ankenbrand while turning left onto Brookhurst. While lying on the road after the initial impact, Ankenbrand was also hit by a Honda Odyssey. Ankenbrand sustained fatal injuries. Officials are still looking for the driver of the Toyota 4Runner who fled the scene of the car accident.
