MY VERY FIRST RIDE POST!
The WETSIDE WATERGUN RIDE was the first ride I ever hosted - Feb 3, 2007. I had no experience with any of this, but I really had a good time planning and creating the night. I encourage everyone thinking of hosting a bicycle ride - just go for it! If you have a good idea, people will come!!! So, I mentioned that I was inexperienced, right? Well, I still like this spoke card idea, so I can't say it was too bad. The ride's "spoke cards" were really just these "3-D model cards", from which you're supposed to punch-out little parts and configure them into an airplane, helicopter, dinosaur or whatever came in the pack. They were a big hit, which was good bc I was nervous about them! Eventually, at the after party people "built" their little models! I laminated about 6 of them after the ride, for my friends who hosted and myself. Luckily its still in good condition, I'll never forget this night, no matter how much I don't remember ;)
