Much of the country is covered in green pastures. The system here is designed to slow the pace of life to a relaxed state of existance. Riding a bicycle is a legitimate form of transportation, trains take you where you need to go if you get tired. I rode to the Hague one day because I felt like it and I took the train back because it was cheap and convienient.... People don't seem to need to rush anywhere. I didnt feel like I was competing for space on the road.... I'm sure if I were to look hard enough I could find some faults in the system....... but I didn't care to look past the stroybook landscapes that surrounded me on my journey.
