Anybody doing it?
Or did it?
Or is interested?
And what is interesting about it?
Track & field position you interested in?
- Long / middle / sprint / or special.
Cause I be looking for some places to cycle too and do some running. Preferably Track & Field with the actually track. None of that Road running - trail hopping shit. Preferably free to public or donations.

The longer the distance, the better I did. In H.S. that was 2 miles, where I managed to get close to 10 minutes a few times. I also ran a sub 4:40 mile.
Later, marathons and a few ultra marathons are where I placed highest in competition.
Take it from me, trails and the wild are the way to go if you're a runner. It fits the M.R. need for freedom and openness that trotting around a quarter mile hamster wheel can never touch.
What attracts me, and why I ran for over 40 years, and have been cycling for 25 is, the pure joy of losing myself in an activity that pushes my body hard for an extended period. Sick, huh?
There are lots of local all weather tracks you can run on during off hours. Lots of running clubs too. Seek and you will find.
Team Runners High, in Long Beach, has a weekly track work out at Millikin H.S., for example.
