Lots of volunteers are still needed for the 2011 Los Angeles Bike Count!
This month, LACBC will be conducting the 2nd ever City of LA Bike Count. In 2009 we counted over 14,000 cyclists at 50 intersections throughout the City of LA. It's time to get back out there and do it again! We'll compare this years counts to 2009 and see if there is an increase or change in cycling in the city. The more data we have on where and how people are riding, the better we can advocate for the cycle tracks, bike lanes and the bike boulevards we need.
Volunteer for the LA Bike Count! We need your help to get out and count again. We'll be conducting counts during the week of September 12th. The following shifts are available for over 50 locations:
Tuesday, September 13th: 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
Tuesday, September 13th: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Saturday, September 17th: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
If you're interested in volunteering, please go to
