 Bike was stolen from santa fe and Jesse street between the time of 5:30 and 8.

I used a krptonite u-lock.

 These posts really bum me out. I've lost 2 bikes to thieves myself (no lock at all, both times).
While U-locks are not fool proof (too many fools out there), I felt they were the best deterrent. Did the bastards break the lock? Or did they cut into what you had the bike locked up to?
In any case, people who steal bikes are out there, and often equipped to overcome any deterrent we can throw at them.

 I believe you are right! Contact kryptonite right away and report how your bike was stolen. Could you also possibly let us on the forums know how it was stolen to so we know what to look out for?
