I need you guys help. I'm curating a show and would love to get the most suggestions I can of regular and everyday riders who are also solo musicians, in bands, or DJ's. If you or someone you know fits this please tell me the name of the project. There's an awesome show that's going to go down soon and I want some options.
Thank you peoples for responding. I was vague for a reason at first but now it doesn't matter. I originally had been asked to curate the line-up and sound for the Bike Film Fest after party, but after starting to work on this the festival decided it no longer wanted to do an after party at all. Super bummer. It was a dope line-up and Alaska was working with me to make it sick. We'll do something on our own at some point. I will definitely keep your contacts for future parties.
I've been talking with the owner of Best Fish Tacos in Los Feliz... He's down to have events and parties for the bike community at his spot. Had an art show/live band event the other night. They have a patio that's BYOB too.
