Where can I find Armadillo tires for the most economical price, online or at a lbs?
I'm looking for 700x25 to be specific, all black.

buy direct from Specialized. Sometimes they have specials.

Thank you.
Is it just me or where they at one point, a couple years back, around $30-35?

Yer right, but the price has definitely gone up everywhere. Best tires out there, especially for 700c.

Yeah, been riding on mine for a little over 2 years now. Only one flat during that time-- a piece of glass actually made it through to the tube but I took the glass out and I haven't had any problems since. It's the best investment I could have made for my daily commuter.

And good luck, the lowest I've seen them lately is about $45.

I've saw one tire in each local shops in the SF Valley. Cycle World on Reseda and Kelly's Bike shop on Woodley.
They were like 45 bucks but only saw one tire in each shop, but that's if you're really looking! I didn't ask if they were used because that they were in a separate pile of other random tires (dunno).
I'll start getting them online from specialized too. I too had a nail that actually gone through my tire to my tube, 2 weeks ago. 3 years of commuting and riding, I'm satisfied of what I put my Armadillo tires through.

I got mine from Safety Cycle.
One day while I was waiting for a train some lady pulled a thumb tack out of mine and it was still go to go afterwards.
